On the morning of the third day I visited the Reichstag Dome, which was projected by Norman Foster, that was on my list of places to visit practically ever since I dreamed of going to Berlin. Next stop: Potsdam!

Próxima paragem: a Cúpula do Reichstag!

Getting out of the subway onto Karl-Marx-Allee was a bit of a spatial shock. The more austere architectural style, with buildings reproduced in sections on both sides of the avenue, and the huge and repetitive scale of the whole construction, in clear contrast to what I'd alrealy seen of Berlin, left me a bit bewildered. But, as in many other things in life, what is strange at first ends up feeling quite normal, and that's exactly what happened. Next stop: the Reichstag Dome!

After Botanischer Garten, I went to Tempelhof, a former airfield that closed in 2008 and is now used as a public park. Next stop: Karl-Marx-Allee.
