Fashion's Night Out Lisboa - part III

E aqui estão as últimas fotografias da Fashion's Night Out. Eu tinha feito uma lista mental de locais a visitar e só depois de ter chegado a casa é que percebi que, no meio da confusão, me esqueci de ir a muitos deles. Mas, felizmente, não me esqueci de espreitar a exposição Xeque Mate, curada pelo Museu do Traje, e que está aberta até domingo num espaço próximo do Bairro Alto Hotel. A exposição é dedicada aos anos 20 e princípios dos anos 30, com uma colecção repleta de objectos muito especiais. O espaço não é grande e, por isso mesmo, nota-se que houve algum cuidado na escolha dos objectos. É o perfeito exemplo de que menos é mais.

And here are the last photos from Fashion's Night Out. I had made a mental list of places to visit and it was only after I got home that I realized that, with all the confusion, I forgot to go to many of them. But, fortunately, I didn't forget to visit the exhibition Xeque Mate, curated by our Costume Museum, that is open until Sunday in a place close to Bairro Alto Hotel. The exhibition is dedicated to the 20's and early 30's, with a collection filled with exquisite objects. The space isn't big and, because of that, it's clear that there was a lot of attention when choosing the objects. It's the perfect example that less is more.
