Monday near the coast

Segunda-feira fui almoçar com a família à Costa da Caparica (creio que o correcto é Costa de Caparica, mas não me soa bem). Apesar de ter uma das linhas de costa mais extensas e bonitas do país, a cidade em si é o perfeito exemplo de anos de má gestão urbanística. Talvez por isso goste mais de ir lá no Inverno, quando a cidade está mais encoberta e quando o mar está bravo.

On Monday I went to lunch with my family to a coastal city some 15 minutes away from where we live. Despite having one the longest and most beautiful coastal lines in the country, the city itself is the perfect example of years of bad urban management. Maybe that's why I like to go there mostly during the Winter, when the city is more concealed and the sea is rough.
