Depois de um domingo de chuva contínua, segunda-feira amanheceu radiosa e quente. Uma prenda para a terra cheia de água. Andar pelo quintal da minha avó materna foi uma operação delicada, mas lá consegui não encher os sapatos de lama.

After a sunday of continuous rain, monday dawned radiant and warm. A gift for the water-filled land. Walking through my maternal grandmother's backyard was a delicate operation, but I somehow managed to keep my shoes off the mud.
