Uma das primeiras coisas a fazer no Porto é visitar os Jardins do Palácio de Cristal. O palácio já não existe, mas o nome subsiste, tornando ainda mais romântico um sítio que já o é naturalmente e que tem das vistas mais bonitas do rio Douro. E se estiverem atentos, podem sempre encontrar um pavão em cima de uma árvore!

One of very first things to do in Porto is visiting the Gardens of the Crystal Palace. The palace doesn't exist anymore, but the name survived, making this place even more romantic than it already is and that has some of the most beautiful sights of the Douro river. And if you're paying attention, you can always spot a peacock on top of a tree!
