The boat ride
Taken with a Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 using Fuji C100 (expired in 2012)
There are several things that make me sad in life and one of them is the fact that my stomach and I don't share the same romantic notions about certain means of transportation. Add to this my notorious lack of hability to be mindful of these things, and here we have a constant recipe for unforgettable moments (and my friends can laugh at my expense, so not all is lost, just my dignity).
All this to say, obviously, that the boat ride wasn't even halfway through, and I was already feeling incredibly nauseated... but it was worth it, as you'll see in the coming posts!
Oh my, that beautiful light house in the distance!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you're sea sick, though!
what a beautiful blue water!
ReplyDeletei am sorry about your sea sickness. One of my aunt had sickness of every single vehicle bus, train, boat, plane. Seriously.
Oh, I feel you - my motion sickness is already so much better than when I was younger but still, the thought of an extended journey on a boat or in a car fills me up with dread. I am sure, though, that it was all kinds of worth it. :)
